A heartfelt homage to Takamine aesthetics
Takamine LTD models are always extra special. For the LTD2022, the Takamine design team crafted a noble tribute to the company's earliest guitar builds of the 1960s. These early instruments drew inspiration from classical guitars and added features that we now know and love, such as soundhole X-bracing and body cutaways for improved access to upper frets. The LTD2022's familiar concert body style has all the aforementioned '60s Takamine innovations, plus additional refinements that make it a treat to play.
CTF-2N active preamp system
Onboard is a brand-new CTF-2N pre-amp system that refines and revives the sound of Takamine's popular early FET preamps (nicknamed "The Brownie"). The CTF-2N combines a 2-band EQ and volume sliders with a notch filter (-6dB and -12dB options), which are extremely useful for cutting out unwelcome feedback-causing frequencies that affect your tone. With a simple preamp interface and a chromatic tuner that are easy to use on the fly, the LTD2022 is a performance workhorse that's set to steal any show visually and sonically.
